Crisp Protect
A website is not “set and forget”. Everyday hackers are trying to find vulnerabilities on sites, so that they can access your data and take control of your website. The main risk is caused by old and out-of-date plugins and a lack of monitoring.
Crisp Protect provides peace of mind against these types of attacks through:
Monthly review and update of plugins
Including checks that updates have not affected your site.
Monthly monitoring of login activity
Reviewing for any unusual or suspicious activity or cyber attacks.
Monthly backups of your website
Ensuring that if your site is compromised, we can safely get it back up and running quickly.
1 small content edit or update
For example, swapping out a photo, adding a new paragraph.
Email support
Our team are available to help with and questions or concerns about your site.
You’ll also receive an update each month on how your website is performing, any suggestions for improvements and we will be available for email support if you ever need it.

Like anything in life, if you don’t do it regularly, getting back up to speed can often take 10 times longer than the original task itself. We find that for busy teams website updates often fall into this category. Instead, let Crisp take care of any website content updates or changes for you.
In each Crispy Update package, you receive 10 hours of support which you can use for:

Step 03: Other costs that may occur
Other costs that may occur
There is nothing worse than a hidden cost. So, in order for you to be as prepared as possible for this process here are some other ongoing costs that you may need to budget for, including:
Essential costs
- Domain registration - starting around $19 / year - this is to secure your website address
- Website hosting - starting around $7 / month - this is the cost to host your website online
- SSL Certificate - around $60 / year - this is your security certificate, which encrypts your content and contact forms, and keeps your site safe
- Elementor Plugin - around $156 USD / year - this is the editor we use on WordPress to ensure that your site looks good and is easy for you and your team to edit
Optional costs
We will install the free versions of these plugins, but the paid ones are even better:
- Wordfence - $10 USD / year - this is a security plugin to prevent your site from hackers
- Yoast SEO - $99 USD / year - this is to boost the searchability of your website (ie. help you rank higher on Google)
We will advise you on the above during the build.
